Wilmya Goldsberry
Wilmya Goldsberry was raised in Aurora, Colorado and now resides in Kentucky. She has been clogging for 22 years now. She got her start in Colorado Springs under the twins Judy and Trudy and in Aurora with Ree Payne. During her 13 years in the Air Force Wilmya had the opportunity to dance and perform with many clogging groups in Austin, TX and New Orleans, LA. She attended her first national clogging convention over Thanksgiving in 1985 and has made friends all over the country through clogging.
Wilmya was encouraged to begin teaching clogging just a few years ago. She completed the Certified Clogging Instructors course in February 2003, got her first hall and started teaching in April of the same year. Just seven months later she taught the first routine she ever wrote at the National CLOG convention in Las Vegas! She has come full circle with the opportunity to teach a workshop with some good friends.
