Lisa Johnson

Lisa has been clogging for over 20 years.  She took her first clogging class from Ginny Guertler, (then Director of Mountain Heritage Cloggers of Crimora, Virginia).  Throughout her clogging career she has traveled up and down the East Coast performing and competing.  She has won numerous Regional and State titles.  She is currently expressing her passion for clogging through educating others as the Director and Choreographer for the Mountain Heritage Cloggers.

Lisa loves being able to use her obtained skills to watch her students grow, and feels very proud to be the director of such an extremely talented group of dancers.  She strives to make each dancer recognize that they are all special and each dancer brings their own special qualities to clogging to be the best they can be, individually, and as a team.

Lisa works as an Auditor for a Virginia State Rehab Facility, and is married to her High School sweetheart and they have two beautiful children.  Although her husband does not clog, he is very supportive of her efforts, and both of her children are currently enrolled in clogging classes.  Lisa is currently working on her CCI.
